NASI LEMAK WAK KENTUT

Despite the name, Nasi Lemak Wak Kentut is the best Nasi Lemak place in Kulai. No signboard though but you could spot it by the big crowd queuing to get their Nasi Lemak. 

Wak Kentut's nasi lemak looks very simple. The set consists of coconut flavoured rice, a large dollop of sambal, slices of cucumber, and the only available side dish is ayam rempah or Malay fried chicken. But everything on the plate at Wak Kentut - the rice, sambal, chicken, peanuts, and even the cucumber are simply superb. Nearby Restaurant West Garden Seafood.

CHICKEN CHOP HUTAN BANDAR

Craving for chicken chop but wan to avoid your pocket and wallet bleeding, we headed to the cheapest chicken chop stall in town. Yeah, here it is, near the Hutan Bandar Johor Bahru. It is of little be remote if you are not too familiar with the area, but you will definitely discover it at night because when the whole road is in dark, this is the only place with brightness and crowd! Spy on other people table, the RM5 chicken chop contains 3 pieces of deep-fried chicken breast, fries and salad, the portion is super generous indeed.
